About Us

The food industry has become so focused on profits that our food quality is suffering. Unfortunately the general public is not made aware of what goes on behind the scenes, and the big companies try to hide the fact that the chemically produced ingredients are unhealthy, and in some cases even harmful, to our bodies.

Look at the recently legislation put forth that is actually HIDING where our food comes from and the current Congress is in support of this. We should know not just what is in our food, but the country of origin too. It is just basic common sense.

As a mother to 5 children (two of my own and three adopted), the fact that it is cheaper to buy a processed burger at McDonald's or a package of Oreos than it is to buy apples or celery enrages me. Is it any wonder that we see so many overweight children?

The purpose of this blog is to bring about awareness of the hidden dangers in the food we are consuming and the foods that we are feeding our families, and provide ways to protect our children from these dangers.

I think this article is really sad and unfair. Governor Huckabee wrote a book about weight loss, Stop Killing Yourself with a Knife and Fork. I know from reading the book that he worked really hard at losing the weight. It is sad that you would take all that away from him with an article about rumors.
