Scientific Study Proves HFCS is Dangerous

I’m sure y’all have seen all the commercials that claim that high fructose corn syrup is this gloopy gloppy mess…as well as the commercials that say there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, in fact it’s healthy for our kids to drink! After all, the food industry tells us that high fructose corn syrup is the same as natural sugar.

Well, I’ve already shown you that high fructose corn syrup is very bad for our children; it’s partly to blame for our overweight children…it’s partly to blame for so many of our our children being afflicted with diabetes…it’s partly to blame for the increase of heart disease. Yet we are supposed to believe that HFCS is the same as natural sugar.

Guess what? A scientific study conducted by the University of California Los Angeles released its findings this past Monday: HFCS actually FEEDS tumor cells, allowing it to spread at an alarming rate.

In addition, the team verified in this study that our bodies DO in fact metabolize the two types of sugar quite differently…something the food industry has been lying to us about for years. They have told us that both HFCS and glucose are processed exactly the same way by our bodies. Now there is scientific PROOF that this is not true!

In the study, tumor cells (specifically pancreatic cancer cells) were “fed” both fructose and glucose. While the tumor cells stayed alive using the glucose (natural sugar), the fructose is what the cells used to spread.

Think about this for a minute…I know I am scared of cancer. I don’t want to get it, and I’m sure you feel the same way! But, if we were unfortunate enough to end up being diagnosed with some form of cancer, do we really want to encourage it to take over our bodies and choke the life out of us?

The part that is most upsetting to me is this: we now know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that HFCS is extremely bad for us. What is the obvious solution? GET RID OF THE PROBLEM!!! Stop putting high fructose corn syrup in our food!

Of course, these intelligent scientists cannot come up with this obvious and very satisfactory solution…no, instead they want to try to manufacture a drug (just what we need, more drugs!) to stop the cancerous cells from utilizing the fructose. Great idea, smart people. Glad you’re making the big bucks…
