Drew Carey Proves the Power of Diet

I know many people think that those of us who eat so-called “health food” or “organic” foods are just following a fad. I used to think that too! Unfortunately, it’s not a fad. It’s the desire to be healthy because of the poisons that are being put in manufactured foods.

What I don’t understand is why people in general have a hard time believing that the food industry is so focused on making money that they don’t care about the dangers the cheaper, chemically created additives are causing to those of us who consume it.

Think about it: when was the last time you received excellent customer service? Our country as a whole is more focused on money, money, money…and with too many companies, customer service is the first to go. It’s next to impossible to get a live person on the phone, they have all been replaced by annoying recorded menus that only leave us pissed off and frustrated.

Our foods are suffering just as much from the modern-day gold fever as customer service. With all of the diseases that are caused or aggravated by these dangerous ingredients, it is obvious why we wouldn’t want to eat them.

I was inspired today, when I read a news article about Drew Carey. He was overweight and had diabetes; instead of simply relaxing and taking his medication, Drew decided to do something about it. By changing his diet and doing 45 minutes of cardio per day, he was able to shed 80 pounds in 6 months…perhaps the best part is that his diabetes is GONE!

Can you imagine curing disease simply by changing what you eat?! This is exactly what Drew Carey has accomplished. He is no longer on any medication…simply from eating healthier foods and exercising everyday!

50 years ago there weren’t as many cases of diabetes. Do you really think it’s a coincidence that all of these diseases we are afflicted with today coincide with the addition of artificial chemical additives to our food? Diabetes used to be a rare condition…today it’s a common occurrence, and the rates of children with diabetes is extremely high.

I challenge you to try changing your diet for 30 days…I bet you will feel a whole lot better all the way around!
